Ever since I was a child I have loved to bake!

Fond memories of growing up in England where, after a day of shopping or a long day at school, I would ultimately end up in a tea room.  A cup of tea and some

cake... just the thing to lift your spirits.  These were not pre -made commercial cakes filled with a lengthy list of ingredients but cakes made fresh every day.  Free range eggs, sugar, flour and fresh butter and natural flavorings, topped with delicious buttercreams of orange zest, coffee, chocolate or raspberries.

I discovered the beautiful patisseries in London and Paris.

 It was then that I realized I would like to train in the pastry arts.  

I enrolled in  Le Cordon Bleu, London  and received my Diplôme de Pâtisserie.

I moved back to the U.S and settled in the lovely Upper Valley.  

After pursuing other ventures I am happy to be baking again. 

So here it is: The Upper Valley's first cupcake bakery!  A lovely spot to stop in and take home a beautiful and delicious treat.
